A great question was asked:

 

Do we need refs for the in-house league as well? 

 

Answer:  No.  

 

The in-house league is just that, in-house (WBSC-only) and does not follow
any league requirements other then age bracketing.

 

Some interesting info:

 

If you are a spectator, and you are asked to be an assistant referee (they
are the guys that watch the side line)

You may do nothing more than indicate when the ball is out, and who kicked
it out.

You may not call or indicate off-sides, you may not notify the referee of
other penalties.

 

But what if I am a genuine registered referee?

 

You may not act as a game official unless you are in uniform.

A dedicated ref-parent will keep his uniform and whistle in his/her car at
all times!
