Good Evening -

Sorry I wasn't around at practice tonight.  Too many irons in the fire....  It is almost mid-night and I just finally got a chance to send this out.  

I've got some thing I still need to bring to your attention.  Our game is on Sunday at 2:15.  Plan on being at the field to start warm-ups at 1:45.

Janell Myers agreed to cover our team's obligation for concession stand duty tonight.  

I've got Mrs. Sheets and Mrs. Morrin to take the stand on Sunday from approx 2:00 till 3:15.   Thanks ladies!!!

I still need a volunteer or two to handle the 1:00 - 2:00 pm shift on Sunday prior to our game.  Is there any team parents that can help out?     ... and believe me I know it is Mother's day!    We obviously drew the short straw on that one but, we won't have any other obligations in the concession for the season.  

I really need some help on this.  Anyone who can help please contact me asap.

Hey U 12 Gang -  

Concession stand duty.  Our team is scheduled to man booth next week.   I need volunteers for the concession stand Thursday, May 8th, afternoon /evening for practice and for the games Sunday, May 11th.  WB Games start at 1:00 and our game is scheduled 2:15

Anyone who can help please contact me asap.  We really appreciate those of you who can help the team w/ this obligation.

Recently ... I found some different clothing items at the field.  

I have a pair of blue nike sneakers, a blue sweatshirt, a brown hooded sweatshirt, a pair of jeans and a t-shrit.  If any one has lost any of these items please see me at practice or at the game on Sunday to claime them.

Remember our game this Sunday scheduled at 4:00 pm.  It is at the same field as it was in the Fall.  I will leave be leaving from Sheetz in Mill Hall at 2:50pm.  I hope to be on the field to warm up at 3:30.   Directions are listed below...

>From Route 322/99 South

When you get to State College, follow Route 322 (not Business route) towards State College

Take the Route 26, State College exit (towards the Nittany Mall)

Off the exit take a Left at the light

At the bottom of the hill, 2nd light, turn Left onto Houserville Rd (Sheetz will be on your right)

Go past Spring Creek Park 

Turn Right onto Scholl Road  ( this is Houserville Elementary )

You can park in the gravel lot to your left ( there is a small wooden sign for Foglemann Fields )  

Our field is on top of the hill.

(or)

>From the Nittany Mall/Bellefonte and North

Follow Route 99/220 South towards State College.

Get off of the Shiloh Road Exit

Make a left of the exit.

Go to the 2nd traffic light and turn Right.  (Sheetz will be on your Left)

Come towards State College past the Nittany Mall on Route 26

At the bottom of the hill, past Tubbies, turn right at the light.

There will be a Sheetz on your left 

This will be Houserville Rd.

Go past Spring Creek Park

Turn Right onto Scholl Road ( this is Houserville Elementary )

You can park in the gravel lot to your left ( there is a small wooden sign for Foglemann Fields )

Our field is on top of the hill.

Subject: FW: some reminders

A couple of things that I wanted to mention...  WBSC is in dire need of certified refs.  Are any of you... or do any of you know someone who may be interested in becoming a ref.  It pays pretty well and you are able to get some exercise at each and every game.    If so, you or they should touch base w/ Abe Stauffer.  He is trying to get a ref course put together this summer.  

Also -  please review the note below from Abe reagarding this seasons games and practices from our teams coaches and families.  I am always willing to take any help I can get w/ lining the fields, remove trash, etc.  

We also have to commit some time to the concession stand this year.  I will try to find out what days we need help from Janell Myers.  I will forward the dates our teams is scheduled in a later email.
