Hi all-my name is John Weinssen ccs#681- I was introduced to your track by
Paul Harris Exp Wera #35 and Troy Hansen CCS #192 a year or so ago and
really like the people in this sport so I got a SV and Troy put it all
together last winter . Since then, I took some school days from Fast Lane
Cycles, and raced Summit ,and VIR.I cannot see anyone just crossing into
racing before attending a school, especially(in my opinion)a Fastlane class
which turned out to be a very thorough GASSing experience.I thank them alot
for easing me in and teaching track ettiquette and the cornerworkers
function of keeping me safer through their communication with flags. They
bring me to my last point which is most important to me knowing what I do-at
this point-they are the most important reason I can think of that I will
continue to grow into this sport. They are my eyes of super-vision- just
what I need to see around the bend,so I can keep on keepin on! THANK-YOU TO
ALL CORNERWORKERS-racers acknowlege them at every turn before and after your
race(and during if need be. And cornerworkers/safety folk in general, be
informed that a thankyou hand signal from us is really an extremely powerful
heartfelt message!! Anyway thanks and greetings from a New Jersey guy who
after starting riding about 30 years ago,is living out a lifelong dream,to
Marrc and FastLane cycles(especially Mark Sherwood ) who grabbed some
national titles last weekend at VIR from his (?) boss Rick Beggs-but mostly
Brian Simmons our instructer who taugh me to be on time for everything.
