I sent this note to VIR, via their contacts page. 
Hope it goes through.  Anyway, while I'm lauding them,
I thought I'd share with y'all what I wrote.

I want to take a moment to commend and thank Jack
Abbot and VIR for their outstanding commitment to the
rider's experience and safety that was so abundantly
displayed on the CCS weekend, 6/28-30.  Early in the
weekend the cars layed down a bunch of mess, as cars
often do on racetracks.  Rather than let the riders
create a clean line at their peril during the morning
practices Sunday, track management hired a road
cleaning crew to do an even more thorough job than
VIR's normal maintenance crew.  It was truly a welcome
and inspiring display of a commitment to doing the
right thing, and then some.

Again, you have my thanks, and I'm sure the thanks of
all the racers and crew who participated in the races
this past weekend.
